Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of inpatient rehab experience and a valid state or compact license for a day-shift acute care assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital with a 24-hour emergency department and an attached 71-bed extended care facility
• Position covers both inpatient rehab and outpatient therapy within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is typically 1:6
• Day shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating within PT scope may be required to meet facility needs
• Cerner is used for hospital charting and PointClickCare is used in long-term care
• Free housing and onsite parking are available
• No requested time off allowed in the first two weeks due to orientation requirements and limited to one week overall

• Professional references from a supervisor within the past two years are required for consideration
• Open to travel pairs
• RTO must be declared up front and is limited as specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient rehab or acute care physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid state or compact PT license required; compact license accepted
• Cerner experience preferred
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• No pending licenses accepted unless compact; MT state license requires approximately 8 weeks for processing
