Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts requiring at least 1 year of recent ICU experience and a NM or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in an intensive care unit in a hospital setting
  • Cares for critically ill adult patients
  • Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Local travelers not accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
  • Responsibilities include providing critical care to adult ICU patients
  • Requested time off must be less than one week
  • Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at a CHS facility in the last 2 years
  • First-time travelers are accepted if other criteria are met

Requirements

  • Active NM or compact state RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • No certifications can expire within 30 days of assignment start
  • Must provide a valid driver's license
  • Must provide a valid US Social Security Number (no Canadian SIN accepted)
  • Travelers cannot have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
