Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with at least one year of recent travel and academic medical center experience for a day/evening rotating position in Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) setting
- Position requires rotation between day and evening shifts, with shifts between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM
- 36-hour work week including up to two weekend shifts per month
- EPIC EMR is used and EPIC experience is required
- Patient care in a high-acuity, academic medical center environment
- Must provide evidence of licensure and certification before employment begins
- Public transportation and paid public parking available; parking costs are not reimbursed
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- First time travelers are not eligible for this position
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years RN experience required
- At least 1 year of recent travel PACU experience required
- At least 1 year of experience in an academic medical center required
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
