Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for rotating day/night shifts in a major academic medical center with a current MA RN license and travel PACU background.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the PACU of an academic medical center
- Provides care for post-anesthesia surgical patients
- 50% day/night rotation with up to 2 weekend shifts per month
- 13-week contract assignment
- Uses Epic for charting
- 36 hours per week
- Proof of MA licensure required for consideration
- Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility; local rate applies if within radius
- No validated parking provided; public parking or public transportation recommended
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
- Required to provide high-level post-anesthesia care with a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Active and current MA RN license (no pending or conditional accepted)
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience
- At least 1 year of travel PACU experience required
- At least 1 year of experience working in an academic medical center
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
