Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for rotating day/night shifts in a major academic medical center with a current MA RN license and travel PACU background.

Responsibilities

Position is in the PACU of an academic medical center
Provides care for post-anesthesia surgical patients
50% day/night rotation with up to 2 weekend shifts per month
13-week contract assignment
Uses Epic for charting
36 hours per week
Proof of MA licensure required for consideration
Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility; local rate applies if within radius
No validated parking provided; public parking or public transportation recommended
Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
Required to provide high-level post-anesthesia care with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

Active and current MA RN license (no pending or conditional accepted)
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum of 3 years RN experience
At least 1 year of travel PACU experience required
At least 1 year of experience working in an academic medical center
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
