Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position requiring a PA or compact RN license and rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Patient population consists of adults requiring cardiac and vital sign monitoring
• Rotating day and night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Weekend and holiday shifts are required
• Float within the hospital based on unit needs
• Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry patients and responding to changes in patient status
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• No radius rule applies for this position
• Permanent staff cannot return as travelers unless working in a different specialty
• Standard holiday coverage is required
• Supervisor references from the past two years preferred
• Orientation modules must be completed prior to start

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• Current COVID vaccine and booster required
• Completion of required modules prior to starting
• Background check required for consideration
