Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Maine with required IR experience and call coverage.
Responsibilities
- Position based in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with crossover into Interventional Radiology
- Full-time day shifts, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
- Call required with a 20- to 30-minute response time to the hospital
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Responsibilities include TEE, cardioversion procedures, circulating, and pre- and post-care
- Duties include flexing between Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology roles as needed
- Pre- and post-care and circulating responsibilities are included in daily duties
- Work in a collaborative team setting
- Picturesque work location in Maine
Requirements
- Active ME or compact RN license required and must be currently active
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- A minimum of 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
- Experience in Interventional Radiology required
- Must be able to perform TEE and cardioversion procedures
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the hospital for call responsibilities
- Proof of influenza vaccination required by the State of Maine
