Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute inpatient experience and a CT PT license for an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient acute care hospital environment
• Level II Trauma center with 456 beds
• Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients
• Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotating weekends and holiday coverage
• Main responsibilities include performing evaluations and treatments for acute care patients
• Holiday and rotating weekend shifts are required
• Local candidates permitted within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Returning employees may require a review process to determine eligibility to return

Requirements

• Active CT PT license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of acute hospital physical therapy experience required
• Functional Independent Measurement (FIM) certification in inpatient rehab settings is preferred
• Two professional references from previous managers are required
