Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist with at least 2 years of specialty experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based radiology special procedures unit
Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
13-week contract assignment
No on-call required
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Must be able to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)
Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a two-year break before eligibility
Requested time off must be submitted up front and cannot be changed after offer
Scrub color or dress code not specified
References required for compliance, not for initial consideration

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Registered Radiologic Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology
Minimum of 2 years' experience within special procedures
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Training or experience in vascular, coronary angiography, or special procedures preferred
Experience in catheterization procedures preferred
License required if applicable
