Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg Inpatient Rehab position in Texas requiring one year of recent specialty experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work on the Inpatient Rehab unit
• Serve a Med/Surg and inpatient rehabilitation patient population
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Provide nursing care and treatment for patients on a rehabilitation-focused unit
• Document patient care and carry out physician orders as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Candidates must provide a US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg or inpatient rehab nursing
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Must have a clean work history with no 90-day gaps in the past 12 months
