Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Coronary Care Unit/CCU ICU position requiring open heart recovery experience and multiple certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) within an ICU setting
Open heart recovery patient population
May be required to float to all units within scope of skill level
Must provide work history and a skills checklist current within one year relevant to the specialty
Copies of all certifications must be included at time of application
No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed

Requirements

Active Ohio or compact RN license
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Immediate open heart recovery experience required, with 3 years recent experience preferred
Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS, AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
All certifications must be current and cannot be pending
