Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and BLS certification for a home health travel assignment in Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting with caseloads across all age groups
• Use of Epic electronic medical record system
• Travel contract requiring completion of at least one previous travel assignment
• Applicants must be prepared to work two out of three major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Requests for time off are limited to one day between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• First-time travelers are not accepted; at least one completed travel contract is required
• Must be able to work with diverse populations in home settings
• Same day interviews may be conducted; expect outreach from a 405 area code

Requirements

• Current active Iowa OT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience across all age groups is required
• Home health experience strongly encouraged
• One supervisory performance reference from within the past 2 years
