Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position in Atlanta requiring a GA or compact RN license and 18 months of CVICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU within a hospital setting
- Care for critically ill cardiac and vascular adult patients
- Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment duration
- No on-call responsibilities
- Responsibilities include the care and management of complex cardiovascular and thoracic patients
- Float requirements and team structure not specified
- Holiday time off (RTO) is limited to a maximum of 3 days if near a holiday, or 5 days otherwise; only one holiday request is permitted
- Several days of RTO during holidays will not be approved and must be spread out
- Only one application to an Emory health system position may be active at a time
Requirements
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum of 18 months recent, full-time CVICU experience
- Strong experience with cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular techniques
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
