Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift assignment requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months recent CVICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiovascular/Thoracic Intensive Care Unit
- Patient population primarily includes adults with complex cardiac and vascular conditions
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call requirement
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible unless a radius rule exception is posted
- Former staff must be separated for at least 1 year and 18 months if returning to the same facility
- Time off requests cannot exceed 5 days unless during holidays, in which case a maximum of 3 days is allowed
- Only one holiday time off request is permitted
- Responsibilities include managing critically ill cardiac and vascular ICU patients
Requirements
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand
- Minimum 18 months of recent full-time CVICU experience within the last 3 years
- Demonstrated experience with advanced cardiac and vascular procedures
- Strong endovascular experience required
