Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift assignment requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months recent CVICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiovascular/Thoracic Intensive Care Unit
• Patient population primarily includes adults with complex cardiac and vascular conditions
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirement
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible unless a radius rule exception is posted
• Former staff must be separated for at least 1 year and 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Time off requests cannot exceed 5 days unless during holidays, in which case a maximum of 3 days is allowed
• Only one holiday time off request is permitted
• Responsibilities include managing critically ill cardiac and vascular ICU patients

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent full-time CVICU experience within the last 3 years
• Demonstrated experience with advanced cardiac and vascular procedures
• Strong endovascular experience required
