Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in a Cardiology Critical Care Unit, requiring 18 months of recent ICU experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Position is located in a cardiology ICU setting
  • Works with critically ill cardiac patients
  • Night 12-hour shifts are required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • No local candidates allowed within a 50-mile radius
  • Responsibilities include providing advanced critical care to cardiology patients
  • Strict limits on requested time off: a maximum of 5 days if not around holidays, and 3 days if around holidays, with only one holiday request allowed
  • Holidays off must be requested with consideration; consecutive RTO during holidays is not allowed
  • Returning employees must meet specific separation requirements before consideration

Requirements

  • Active RN license in Georgia or a compact state must be in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months of ICU experience required
  • Experience caring for cardiac/critically ill patients necessary
  • Candidates must not have been a permanent employee at the facility or system within the previous year, or at this specific facility within the last 18 months
