Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Cath Lab environment
Patient census is approximately 10 per shift
Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring, neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart exams
Utilize specialized equipment including Philips imaging systems and Abbott Claris
Epic charting system experience is strongly preferred
Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours, 7:00 to 17:30
On-call required: 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
No floating to other units
Responsibilities include performing conscious sedation on adults and assisting in SSU or PACU recovery for Cath Lab patients
Annual modules must be completed during orientation
Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed
Required to follow specific policies and procedures for sedation and cardiovascular diagnostics
Proof of address must be provided for consideration
Scrub attire requirements not specified in the job details

Requirements

Active OR RN license or eligibility for temporary licensure
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
At least 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and Cath Lab procedures
Epic charting experience preferred but not required
Candidates must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility
Candidates can be first-time travelers
