Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and valid CA license for a variable shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a surgical center mammography unit
• Patient population consists primarily of adult women requiring diagnostic and screening mammograms
• Variable 5x8 hour shifts, scheduled either Tuesday through Saturday or Monday through Friday, with shift hours between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
• Fifth shift may be on Saturday; schedule may include Sunday/Monday or Friday/Sunday as days off
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Return staff must have at least a one-year break before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Only one holiday will be approved as requested time off
• 50 mile radius rule applies for travel eligibility
• Locals are accepted with compensation at the local rate
• Completion of e-learning modules during orientation is required
• Must indicate any background check findings or DUIs prior to consideration
• Epic charting experience is preferred for this role

Requirements

• Current CA CRT, ARRT, RHM, and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent mammography experience
• Travel experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must provide two references from the past two years
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
