Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring postpartum experience and an active AR or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor & Delivery and postpartum unit of a hospital
• Care for obstetric patients including postpartum cases
• MEDITECH EMR experience is highly preferred
• Trauma Level III experience is preferred
• Care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
• Candidates residing 90-150 miles from Batesville will be reviewed but are less likely to be selected

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license is required
• Minimum 2 years of OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Postpartum nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• EMR experience with MEDITECH is highly preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 90 miles from Batesville for consideration
