Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS or CCI certification and a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound tests to obtain cardiac images for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- Work in a rural setting with limited local housing options
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain processes clearly
- Maintain ultrasound equipment in good working condition
- Stay up to date with current best practices in the field
- Company-provided housing may be available, subject to availability and with weekly rent deductions
- Assignment location may be changed to another site within 30 miles if needed
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field required
- ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer license if applicable
