Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment in Oklahoma, requiring a current OK or compact RN license and a minimum of one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical-Surgical unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Variable shift schedule with potential for blocked scheduling based on facility needs
• 13-week contract assignment
• Assignment located within 50 miles of Guthrie, OK may be subject to specific local contract rules
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles will have specific bill rate and contract duration limitations
• Staff with a home address within 50 miles may complete a maximum of three consecutive 13-week local contracts before needing to separate from the facility for at least one year or move to another location
• No specific mention of floating, call, or EMR requirements

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment, unless renewal documentation is provided
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing required
• No employment gaps exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
• Canadian SINs are not accepted
