Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California with night shifts and current CA RN license required.

Responsibilities

Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
Cares for high-risk labor and delivery patients
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Uses Epic EMR system
Responsible for nursing care of laboring mothers, including high-risk cases
Must provide last four digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration
Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate
Assignment is limited to a maximum tenure per HR policy, with requirements for breaks in between extended assignments
COVID and Flu vaccination may be required

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at time of application
Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
Preferred: Over 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
Preferred: At least 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years
Epic EMR experience preferred
