Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in California with a CA RN license and recent PICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients
• EPIC is the electronic medical record system used
• Duties involve providing intensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Assignment is open to both local and travel candidates at the same rate
• Team-based care environment with support from multidisciplinary staff
• Travelers may not exceed two years of assignment without a 90-day break per HR policy
• Compliance with hospital immunization and background requirements is expected

Requirements

• Active CA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time PICU experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration
• Submission must include license verification and copies of certifications
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
