Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position, requiring a valid NM or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit located on Floor 1
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Care for a general medical-surgical patient population
• No on-call responsibilities specified
• Must provide safe and effective nursing care to Med/Surg patients on night shift
• RTO must be requested in advance and cannot exceed 7 days
• Holiday and weekend staffing expectations may apply per hospital policy
• Only candidates with a valid US Social Security Number will be considered

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of assignment start
• Driver's license required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Applicants must not have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• RTO requests are limited to less than one week
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
