Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience and a current ME or compact license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a physical therapy unit with a focus on outpatient care
• Work schedule is 7:00AM to 5:30PM, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Applicants must not have worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent role
• Permanent address must be at least 100 miles south or southwest of Bangor, ME for consideration
• Responsibilities include delivery of outpatient physical therapy services and patient care documentation
• Individual interviews may be required as part of the selection process
• No travel pairs will be considered for the same position
• Housing resources and flu clinic options are available to travelers

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in physical therapy, specifically in an outpatient setting
• Current ME or compact state PT license required if applicable
• Two professional references from the past year, with at least one from a supervisory role
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Driver’s license is required
• Flu vaccination required for start dates after 9/30/2024; only medical exemptions will be considered with advance notice
