Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of cath lab experience and a LA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Two labs performing approximately 100 procedures per month
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
• 16 on-call days every 6 weeks, including 2 weekends
• Procedures include pre and post care, radial access, scrubbing for hearts, pacemaker and ICD implants
• Cannon system and MEDITECH - MAGIC 5.66 EMR are used, EPIC experience required
• Patients include those with cardiac and peripheral vascular needs
• Must be experienced with both cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Participation in an on-call rotation that includes evenings and weekends is required
• A 75-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
• Scrub experience is required for this role

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• Experience with pre and post care, radial access, and scrubbing for heart cases
• Experience with pacemaker and ICD implants
• EPIC charting experience required
