Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN to work night shifts in a critical care setting, requiring an active Oregon RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital
  • Care for acutely and critically ill adult patients with complex, life-threatening health conditions
  • Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekend coverage
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • Deliver direct patient care and perform intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions for critically ill patients
  • Must adhere strictly to all listed job requirements for consideration
  • Rotating weekend coverage is required
  • First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at the time of consideration
  • Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year ICU nursing experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required for moderate complexity testing
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are preferred
