Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring recent ER travel experience and active IA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a 34-bed Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 4:1
• Serves a mixed patient population including drips and titrations
• Travel RN role that requires previous travel experience
• Uses Epic EMR and prior Epic experience is required
• Required to work two out of three major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time-off requests allowed during specified holiday periods
• Scrubs must be solid black, navy blue, or Caribbean blue
• Must obtain CPI, MOAB, or MAB certification during onboarding if not already certified
• Care for a mixed patient population with the potential for critical interventions such as drips and titrations
• Holiday coverage expectations are strictly enforced with limited time-off during peak periods
• Dress code requires solid color scrubs in black, navy, or Caribbean blue

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (all AHA)
• CPI, MOAB, or MAB certification preferred; must be obtained during onboarding if not already held
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent supervisory reference from within the past 2 years
