Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment with dayshift hours and MA RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient rehab setting within the SCC Nursing unit
• Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30, 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Epic EMR is used and familiarity is preferred
• Patient assessment, medication administration, and care plan implementation required
• Responsible for accurate patient records, administering medications, and monitoring condition changes
• Coordinate care plans with healthcare team members
• Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for non-local pay rate eligibility
• Parking at some locations may require use of public transportation or daily paid lots
• No pending MA license candidates will be considered
• First-time travelers are eligible for this position

Requirements

• Active MA RN license with no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions
