Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CNMT certification for an acute care, Level 1 Trauma environment.
Details
- Work in an acute care setting with a dedicated Nuclear Medicine department
- Level 1 Trauma environment
- Day shifts scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM or Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Utilizes Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs, with training provided on equipment if needed
- EPIC EMR is used; experience is preferred but not required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current BLS certification required
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB required
- Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
- DOT certification is preferred at contract start and required at extension within 90 days
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references: one from a supervisor within the past 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the past 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility and may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
Additional Information
- Radiation badge will be provided
- Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
- Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered if not directly employed by the facility within the past year
- Standard scrubs are required per department policy
- Orientation consists of 12 hours
- Drivers license is used to verify compliance with radius requirement
