Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of recent home health experience and a valid MD license for a Home Health float pool assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a home health setting providing therapy in patient residences
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for individualized care
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment as part of a float pool
• Uses Homecare Homebase for documentation and charting
• Must complete required training modules before and possibly during orientation
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off per 13-week contract is highly preferred
• No time off permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
• Return staff must have a minimum 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Scrubs or professional attire may be required as per standard home health protocols
• Team and support structure includes clinical reviews by a dedicated team
• Candidates must be willing to accept or forgo interviews as manager may not conduct one

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent home care experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• MD state PT license required; compact license accepted if applicable
• Experience with Homecare Homebase and OASIS required
• Two supervisor references from the past 2 years required
• First-time travelers must meet all experience and skills requirements
• License required if applicable
