Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother Baby - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum position requiring C-section circulation and OB triage skills, with night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a hospital Women's Center unit
• Care includes labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
• Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Responsible for the full spectrum of clinical nursing care in the LDRP setting using professional standards and organization policies
• Engages in patient and family education, assessment, planning, and evaluation of care
• Participates in interdisciplinary collaboration and unit performance improvement initiatives
• Maintains a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
• Adheres to communication guidelines to ensure continuity of care
• Required to report for lab testing within 24 hours of assignment commitment
• Compliance with background check and drug screening timelines is mandatory

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact RN license required
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections
• Must have OB triage experience
