Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a day shift role requiring RCIS certification and strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology department specializing in cardiology procedures
• Team consists of 2 technologists, 1 RN, and a physician
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts starting between 7:00 and 7:30 AM
• Weekend schedule is call only, averaging every 3rd weekend with an estimated 5-10 hours per weekend based on inpatient or ED cases
• Charting is done in Epic; recent experience within the last 12 months preferred, but on-site training and test-out are provided if needed
• Travel pairs accepted, but same shift is not guaranteed
• Must be able to participate in call rotation, including every 3rd weekend
• Team includes techs, RN, and physician, providing a collaborative work environment
• No online modules required unless Epic training is needed
• Typical RTO (time off) should not exceed two weeks for the assignment and must be made up if more is taken

Requirements

• RCIS certification required
• ARRT R certification preferred
• Pending license is acceptable for consideration, but valid license must be in hand by the start date (license required if applicable)
• Non-AHA certifications accepted (Instructor, Provider, and RQI)
• Recent Epic experience strongly preferred; otherwise, must complete on-site Epic training and pass a test-out before scheduling
