Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room night shift position requiring a current NY RN license and EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 21:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• EPIC EMR experience is required
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Must not reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties or within 50 miles of the facility
• Competency testing may be required for ICU and Medical-Surgical applicants as specified
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make up shifts must be completed within six weeks
• RTO (requested time off) must be requested at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Only one position application allowed per traveler

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical exemption for flu vaccination must be signed by a licensed professional; no personal or religious exemptions accepted
