Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (MRI) certification and proficiency with Siemens and Phillips MRI scanners.
Responsibilities
- Work in a radiology diagnostic unit with a focus on MRI
- Shift schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- 12-hour day shifts, three shifts per week
- Floating between units is required within the radiology department
- Patient care involves magnetic resonance imaging for various clinical indications
- Scrub color requirement is flexible; any color is allowed
- Role involves providing diagnostic MRI imaging for a diverse range of patients
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary radiology team
- Facility enforces a strict no-nicotine policy and will test as part of pre-employment screening
- Time-off (RTO) requests must be included at time of application
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Up-to-date resume, skills checklist, and supporting documentation must be submitted for consideration
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification and BLS certification are required
- Documented travel experience is preferred
- Recent experience working with Siemens and Phillips MRI scanners is mandatory
- Two recent MRI Supervisor or Manager references are required for consideration
- Must be nicotine-free and able to pass nicotine screening
- Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions permitted
- License required if applicable
