Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and an active OR RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cath Lab of a hospital environment
• Care for a patient census of approximately 10
• Perform diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring, including neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart exams
• Utilize Philips imaging systems and Abbott Claris equipment
• Epic charting is strongly preferred but not required
• Day shift schedule: four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 to 17:30
• On-call required: 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• No floating required within the facility
• Responsibilities include performing conscious sedation on adults per facility guidelines and assisting with recovery in SSU or PACU as needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates may submit with a pending OR license
• Time off requests must not exceed 7 days during the assignment
• Must complete specialty-specific orientation modules during initial orientation
• 7-year work history required for consideration
• Two recent professional references must be provided from positions held within the last year, with one being a manager reference

Requirements

• Active OR RN license or eligibility for temporary license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strongly prefer prior experience with Epic EMR
• No acceptance of local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility
