Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a night shift contract in Massachusetts requiring an active MA RN license and experience in academic medical centers.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- EPIC is used for charting and documentation
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; local rate applies if within this radius
- Parking is not validated; public transportation or paid public parking is available in Boston
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- No extensions at the original contracted rate
Requirements
- Active, non-conditional MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification (AHA only accepted)
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 year of prior travel PACU RN experience is required
- At least 1 year of experience in an academic medical center is required
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
