Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring ortho/neuro trauma experience and both scrub and circulate skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
- Primary focus on orthopedic and neurological trauma cases
- Day shifts, 12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Four 10-hour shifts per week over a 13-week contract
- Requires circulating and scrub duties
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Ability to perform both scrub and circulate roles in the OR is necessary
- Locals are accepted at the same rate unless otherwise specified by facility rules
- Dress code follows Operating Room scrub requirements
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum two years of circulating and scrub Operating Room experience required
- Ortho/neuro trauma experience required
- Experience working in facilities with 500+ bed counts
- Epic EMR experience required
