Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and an active MA license for a float travel position.

Responsibilities

Home health setting serving the North Region, including Beverly, Marblehead, Salem, and Swampscott
Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation every 6 weeks
Provides physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence across all age groups
Epic charting system is used; experience with Epic is required or preferred
Float position with travel required to assigned cases throughout the North Region
Provides physical therapy evaluation and treatment for patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities due to injury, disease, or other causes
Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
Utilizes thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication
Weekend shifts are once every 6 weeks as part of a rotation
Parking in some locations may require use of public transportation or payment for public parking lots
Must be comfortable working with patients ranging in age from birth to over 100 years
2 references are required for consideration
Local candidates within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are accepted at a slightly reduced rate

Requirements

Active Physical Therapist professional license in Massachusetts required with no conditional licenses accepted
Minimum 1 year of home health experience as a Physical Therapist required
American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required if applicable
Ability to travel to patient homes as assigned
Proof of MA licensure required at the time of consideration
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
License required if applicable
