Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulator skills and strong orthopedic experience for a hospital operating and recovery room assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating and Recovery Room of a hospital setting
Focus on surgical cases including Orthopedics, Endoscopy, General, and ENT
Circulator experience in the OR is required
Bi-weekly orientation provided
Shift is 07:00-15:30 with a 36/48 hour weekly rotation
Call rotation with expectation to work every 6th or 7th weekend
No block scheduling allowed
No local candidates will be considered
Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
Position requires participation in a call rotation and some weekend coverage
Start date aligns with assignment confirmation and bi-weekly orientation schedule
Dress code and scrub requirements will be communicated during onboarding

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN circulator experience
Strong orthopedic surgical experience required
Experience with Endoscopy, General, and ENT cases preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
