Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Med Surg/Telemetry position on a day shift, requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and an active AR or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a Cardiac Medical Intermediate/Telemetry unit
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be permitted based on facility needs
• Patient population primarily includes cardiac med surg and telemetry patients
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be allowed and must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible with a local rate policy in effect
• Local staff may complete up to three consecutive 13-week assignments before a 1-year separation or transition is required
• No previous employees with significant recent employment gaps will be considered

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in cardiac med surg or tele specialty
• No employment gaps greater than 90 days within the past 12 months
• Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment, unless proof of renewal is provided
• A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required
