Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an LTACH Med Surg/ICU position requiring a KY or compact RN license and strong critical care skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) on a combined Med Surg/ICU unit
- Patient ratio is 1:4
- Schedule is night shift, 19:00-07:30, with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next in a biweekly rotation
- Uses Meditech EMR system
- Bi-weekly orientation is provided
- Must be able to function in both Med Surg and ICU level care within the LTACH setting
- Travel pairs are not allowed
- First-time travelers are not specified; please inquire
- References and a copy of driver’s license may be required for consideration
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years current LTACH RN experience required
- Certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
