Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with a current MA RN license and recent emergency department experience for a night shift travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, full-spectrum emergency department of a community hospital
• Serves patients of all ages, with predominantly adult population and occasional pediatric cases
• Includes a locked behavioral health unit with a 12-bed capacity
• High-acuity environment with exposure to a diverse patient population
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Primary responsibilities include caring for high-acuity patients across the lifespan in the ER and behavioral health unit
• The team environment is community-oriented and supportive
• Time spent on training modules is compensated
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• All scheduling and time-off requests must be provided at the time of application

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI
• Minimum of 2 years recent ED RN experience required
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• CPI training provided on site
• Copy of certifications and two recent professional references required
• Return staff must have at least a one-year separation before being considered
