Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of acute and outpatient experience for a day shift rehabilitation position in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

  • Work in acute rehab and outpatient rehabilitation therapy settings
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
  • Responsibilities cover both acute inpatient and outpatient adult patient populations
  • Uses Net Health Therapy and Meditech for electronic medical records
  • Must report to Employee Health in Hawaii 48-72 hours before the start of the assignment for onboarding
  • Ability to independently manage a full caseload and perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization protocols
  • Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as needed according to hospital operations
  • Plan on arriving in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to complete onboarding requirements

Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapist license required; Hawaii license must be obtained by start date
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults in acute and outpatient rehab settings
  • Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross is required
