Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a current NY RN license and proficiency with Epic EMR.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No blocked scheduling allowed
- Use of Epic EMR is required
- Medical documentation from a licensed professional is required for flu vaccine exemptions; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
- More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make up shifts required within six weeks of the last call out
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application
- Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
- Local candidates are not eligible if they reside in specified counties within a 50-mile radius
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
- Current AHA or RQI certifications required
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required
