Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with neuroscience experience for a night shift contract, requiring an active MO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital Neurosciences unit
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment
• Direct patient care for neurology and Med/Surg populations may be required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off permitted but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be eligible with rate and contract limitations
• Subcontractor staff limited to 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts within 50 miles, then must separate for 1 year or transfer out of the radius
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed depending on facility needs
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No expiring certifications allowed within the first 30 days unless renewal is scheduled

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Neurosciences or Med/Surg specialty
• No gaps of 90 or more days in employment within the last 12 months
• All certifications must be valid for at least 30 days into assignment or have documented renewal scheduled
• Valid U.S. SSN required
