Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position in a high-paced setting, with CPR required and CA license accepted as pending.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic with private treatment rooms for all patients
• Patient caseload typically ranges from 14-16 per 8-hour day and 16-20 per 10-hour day
• Patient population includes post-op, non-surgical, Tricare insured, vestibular rehab, and pelvic floor rehab clients
• Pelvic floor therapy experience is a plus but not required
• Charting is done using Office Ally; prior experience preferred
• Work schedule is flexible: options for 5x8 hour shifts Monday-Friday (7:00-15:30 or 8:00-16:30) or 4x10 hour shifts Tuesday-Friday
• Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating a diverse outpatient caseload with an emphasis on one-on-one patient care
• Facility welcomes local candidates at the travel rate
• Candidates with pelvic floor therapy experience are especially valued
• Professional attire suitable for outpatient therapy is expected
• Orientation and initial credentialing require at least 1.5 weeks lead time before start

Requirements

• Current or pending California PT license required if applicable
• CPR certification is mandatory
• One year of outpatient PT experience preferred; will consider other experience levels
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• New graduates, those new to outpatient, and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply
