Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology department serving outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU populations
• Perform advanced IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, peripheral and vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdomen and pelvis, and extremity interventions
• Utilize PACS, C-arm, contrast administration, and biopsies
• Deploy pushable and detachable coils, use micro catheters and wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems such as ACIST
• Epic EMR experience required
• Day shift schedule: 4x10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Call rotation averages 10 days per month including at least one weekend
• No floating required outside assigned unit
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Must be available to work 4 out of 8 major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year holidays
• RTO requests must be submitted with the application; additional requests considered at manager's discretion
• Scrubs are provided
• Free onsite parking is available
• Travelers must be clean-shaven for FIT testing and OSHA respirator clearance
• All travelers must take a 6 month break if returning after 1 year assignment
• Pre-employment modules required and completed prior to start

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in interventional radiology with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU populations
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Experience with PACS, C-arm, contrast, biopsies, stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, drainages, vascular and neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic procedures, and extremities required
• Proficient in use of micro catheters, micro wires, pushable/detachable coils, Snare Kits, and injector systems
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable
• Pending state license may be accepted at manager's discretion
