Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position covering labor, postpartum, and nursery care in California with a CA RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Family Birth Center within a hospital setting
• Care for patients in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Will care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery phases
• Modules completed via e-learning during orientation, average 1-5 hours depending on specialty
• Only one holiday approved as part of RTO
• Return staff must have been gone at least one year to be eligible
• Position subject to a 50-mile radius rule; locals are accepted at a lower rate

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Certifications must be from AHA or American Red Cross and in hand
• Must provide two recent supervisor references obtained within the last year
• Must be able to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Nursys verification within the last two weeks
