Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Florida requiring a FL or compact RN license and the ability to float between multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Provides care for patients with urgent and emergent conditions
12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week
Every other weekend work is required
No call responsibilities are required
Must float between multiple facilities in the area: Lake Placid, Sebring, and Wauchula
Navy blue scrubs are required
Pre-shift huddle participation is required and is compensated
Must participate in cross-facility support as part of the role
First-day instructions will be provided prior to assignment start

Requirements

Active FL or compact RN license required
Previous Emergency Department RN experience preferred
Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Returning employees must have a one-year break in service before taking a travel assignment
COVID-19 vaccination card required
