Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Medsurg position in Illinois with day shifts and float requirements.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital telemetry/medsurg unit
Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
Requires ability to float to other medical/surgical and telemetry units
13-week contract assignment
Care for adult patients on telemetry and medical/surgical units
Must be willing to float as needed across similar units
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in telemetry or medical/surgical nursing
Current BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
NIHSS certification required
Completion of a Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP), which can be completed online
