Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position specializing in bone marrow transplant, requiring a GA or compact RN license with at least 18 months of experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is within the bone marrow transplant unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts as part of a 13-week assignment
- Oncology patient population with focus on bone marrow transplant care
- No on-call responsibilities
- Care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplant procedures in an oncology setting
- Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed unless RTO falls on or near a holiday, in which case the maximum is 3 days
- Only one holiday RTO request is allowed and RTO during holidays must be spaced out
- No local candidates are accepted
Requirements
- Active Georgia or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum of 18 months RN experience required
- Oncology experience preferred
